Deathproof
Watched Deathproof last night. It's part of Quentin Tarantino's double feature Grindhouse. These are two movies made in the slasher style of old and released simultaneously. Deathproof is about a serial killer named Stuntman Mike. He drives a Dodge Charger that has been reinforced for stuntwork, rendering it effectively "Deathproof". He tracks down and kills people with it. This film is not for the squeamish as it gets pretty bloody. However, there are obviously some kickin' car chase scenes. And the end, priceless. If you're capable of handling blood and guts and love cars and chicks, check it out.

i was just thinking about those movies the other day - wondering when they were coming out on dvd. they were just now moved to the top of my queue. we love tarantino gore....
A "must see" for dranmom
Gross! Stop the perpetuation of violence in society! There WILL be some predisposed,glory-seeking teenager who will imitate actions in this movie. Some of them think this is what real people do. SILENCE THE VIOLENCE!! (don't make me step onto that soapbox!)
did you hear? your mom and i are soul mates - except for the whole tarantino thing, it seems. he's kind of like a skeleton in my closet. :):) what can i say? pulp fiction spoke to me when i saw it 4 times in the theater as a 17 year old freshman in college!
other than that - dranmom and i are birds of a feather!
one more pulp fiction/katie bon mon - i broke up with the guy i was seeing at the time because he "didn't get it." how on earth could i stay with that loser? (btw - i was only dating him in the first place because he looked like ricky schroder from silver spoons - definitely not the brightest bulb on the tree, though)
nuke the whales.......warned you about dranmom
